You don't have to have children with you to enjoy this marvelous museum featuring over 53,000 square feet of exhibits in the main building. Take the one-fourth mile trail leading to another 32,000 square feet of exhibits and animal habitats. Living history demonstrations, lectures, and animal interpretations are presented regularly. The museum is open daily from 9-5 except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Extended hours are offered in the summer and admission is charged.
